Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026
THE SHORT VERSION

aimeaning is free, has no accounts, and doesn't sell your data. We use privacy-friendly analytics to see which lessons help, and your learning progress is saved in your own browser — not on our servers.

Who we are

aimeaning ("we", "us") operates the website at aimeaning.io, a free educational resource about artificial intelligence. You can reach us at aigptnet@gmail.com.

What we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not request your name, email, or any personal details to use the site.

  • Anonymous usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site in aggregate — for example, which lessons are read, completed, or dropped. This helps us improve the content.
  • Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may process basic information your browser sends automatically, such as approximate region, device or browser type, and pages visited.
  • Your progress (stored on your device). Your XP, badges, and which steps you've completed are saved locally in your browser's storage. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data will reset it.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics sets cookies or similar identifiers to measure usage. We use analytics for product improvement, not advertising, and we do not run ad-targeting cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work.

Third parties

A few trusted services help run the site: Google Analytics (usage measurement), Google Fonts (typography), and our web host (serving the pages). Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

How we use what we collect

Only to operate and improve aimeaning — understanding which explanations work, fixing what doesn't, and keeping the site reliable. That's it.

Your choices

  • Block cookies or use private/incognito browsing to limit analytics.
  • Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on to opt out of GA4 across sites.
  • Clear your browser storage to erase your saved progress at any time.

Children

aimeaning is intended for a general audience and is suitable for teens and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, since we don't collect personal information to use the site at all.

Changes to this policy

If we update how we handle data, we'll revise this page and update the date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
